Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Mixed comments: some rooms described as impeccable, but multiple notes about insufficient cleaning (areas not swept, beds only 'stretched'), worn pillows/covers and towels, and a bathroom with no ventilation.

Service

Generally excellent — many mentions of cordial, extremely helpful staff and attentive reception/restaurant service. Isolated issues include slow/no response to phone/email requests and a delayed room service/check-in incident.

Location

Very positive: beachfront and quiet location praised repeatedly, ideal for rest; note that going to town may require Uber or a car for some guests.

Room Quality

Mostly good rooms with some issues noted: small beach towels, worn pillows/coverings, occasional bathroom leaks and lack of ventilation, and some rooms without balconies.

Amenities

Strong amenities: pool, spa, well-kept common areas and beach access frequently praised. Some negatives: elevators can be slow and there were reports of an elevator entrapment and unheated pool at times; persistent on-site sales approaches at breakfast.

Value for Money

Mixed-to-negative: at least one explicit comment that the hotel is too expensive for what it offers; value pulled down by service inconsistencies and some room/restaurant shortcomings.

Luxurious Amenities

Featuring a year-round outdoor pool, a fitness centre, and a business centre, Laghetto Stilo Barra offers a luxurious stay for guests looking to relax and unwind in style.

Beachfront Location

Situated on Rio de Janeiro's stunning Barra da Tijuca Beach, guests at Laghetto Stilo Barra can enjoy breathtaking ocean views and easy access to the sandy shores for a perfect beach getaway.
